The long-life target for standard ammunition
A complete elastomer target. The material closes up behind each projectile, letting you shoot at least 30x more shots than on a paper target before it needs replacing. It cannot tear and is unaffected by the weather, so it can stay installed for months at a time.
A new black elastomer visual can be glued on, extending its life many times over.
Running costs
| Consumable | Price | Yield |
|---|---|---|
| 55×53 elastomer target | €16.80 | at least 30x the life of paper |
| Elastomer centre | €2.10 | ≈ 250 shots with a 25m pistol (180 mm centre) |
That's under one cent per shot with a pistol.
How the elastomer wears

Example of elastomer wear (ISSF 50m rifle) after 60 shots

Elastomer wear after 120 shots.
The tears become larger and may cause missed detections.

Elastomer target with a new elastomer centre
Just stick on a new elastomer centre and keep shooting.
As long as the elastomer target is in good condition, only the centre needs to be peeled off and replaced with a new one.
Extend its life with self-adhesive centres
Elastomer — for standard ammunition
Elastomer targets last at least 30x longer than paper. Self-adhesive centres extend it again: 180 mm for precision and rapid-fire visuals, 100 mm for rifle visuals.
Paper — for wad-cutter (.32, .38, air)
For wad-cutter ammunition, use the 55×53 paper target with 21×21 replacement centres.
